Student Refections on Israel and the Kibbutz

"I have been living on the Kibbutz for almost 2 weeks. So far, I have been working, hanging out with my friends, and learning. At work, I cut the vegetables, sweep the floors, and today I made pizza.
The only tiyul we went on so far was Jerusalem last Tuesday. We went there because the Kotel is a holy place. We also did other things there too. Saturday night and Sunday we went on a hiking trip. On Saturday night, we had a pizza party on the hike. On Sunday, we went fruit picking and climbed a mountain and saw the valley of Bet Shean. It was fun. Our next tiyul is on Wednesday and Thursday. We are going to the Golan and I can't wait.
Kenny and Dvora are very nice people. They are going to help to make us have a great time on the kibbutz." ................By Jordan

"My favorite thing in Jerusalem was the soldiers because I like taking pictures with them. I also got bit by the cat and it was really painful. I went to the doctor and to the hospital. I felt scared but I made it through. It makes me happy that Kenny gave me a gift because I went to the hospital." ...............By Shaina

"I like the animals. They are so cute. At my job, I clean stuff." ..............By Ilan

"Today, I saw my cousin Gershon. He brought me candy and soda. Today, I went on a bike. Mr. K (aka Kenny) helped me. He gave me cookies because I went on the bike." .... By Ephraim
