Tzfat

We just came back from a wonderful 2 days up North where we got to traveled around from Tzfat to Rosh Hanikra.

Our trip started out at Kibbutz Misgav Am which is a Kibbutz that stands right on the border of Lebanon. A member of the Kibbutz gave us a tour and a history. It was a very interesting tour and we enjoyed the views.

We then stopped off at Tel Dan where we took a nature walk through a very beautiful area. Among the sights we saw along the way were an old flour mill and a tree that you can climb through. At the mill, Maya helped us understand how the flour mill worked by using us as models.

After that we went to Tzfat where we walked through the Old City, davening Mincha in the Ari Synagogue, and went to the Safed candle factory.

Later that night we went up to Meron where we davened Maariv and enjoyed a Breslover experience.

The next day, we went to Yichiam fortress which is from the time of the Crusades. We really enjoyed that.

Then we stopped off at a beach on the Meditaranean Sea. Though it was a bit chilly, we got to relax a bit.
From there we went to Rosh Hanikra where we took a cable car down to the bottom, watched a movie and took a walk through the caves and saw the waters washing up against the rocks.
Shabbat Shalom!
