Kulanu arrives in Israel!!!!!

The big day finally came...The airport scene was bittersweet, as many of our friends and family came to see us off to our exciting journey.

After going through check in and security, davening Maariv in the airport chapel, and saying goodbye,

we made our way to the business class lounge where we enjoyed some beverages and comfortable chairs.

After finding our way to the gate, we boarded our plane and were VERY excited by our business class treatment. We sat back, put up our legs and got ready for the royal treatment. The food service was par excellence.

One student went as far as to say that the food was better then his mother's cooking. (For his protection, his identity will remain anonymous.)After a long (and bumpy) flight, we finally landed, got our luggage, and exited the airport, to be greeted with a big welcome sign, and of course, Kenny and Devora. We finally made our way to Kibbutz Shluchot, where we went straight to our "dorm". We were welcomed with dinner in our lounge, and quickly got comfortable in our new "home".

Barring a few x-box technical difficulties, we are all settled in and are dealing with our jet-lag as best as can be. Stay tuned...
